Shortest drive of the trip. Trying to time some stuff. I took no pictures on the drive up. I did try to drive up to the Cheyenne Mountain gate and see what you can see. Nothing. It’s a cool ride and there is a very, very nice and swanky neighborhood right at the future site of Cheyenne Lake, but I didn’t snap any pictures.
I stayed at The Ramble, which is a cool old boutique hotel that has a Death & Co. on the ground floor, which was my main draw. Here, an old warehouse building across the street.
I visited the Brown Palace (hahaha), but an imposing atrium for the time.

A bar can be a form of infrastructure. In fact, many of the back sides of bars in the old mountain West were imported from the east by rail. Immensely expensive constructs.
